Undergraduate and graduate students can get involved in MusicReach, supporting the musical growth of children throughout Miami-Dade and enhancing their own teaching experience, while also earning scholarship and stipend support through the Frost School of Music.  Undergraduate mentors receive a $5,000 scholarship per year to mentor two underserved youth each week, and graduate student teaching assistant positions are also available through MusicReach.  Graduate students act as site lead teachers and also provide support for undergrads working in the program.  For more information on these scholarship opportunities please contact Director of Outreach Melissa Lesniak, m.lesniak@miami.edu, Undergraduate Dean Moore, smoore@miami.edu, or Graduate Dean de l’Etoile, sdel@miami.edu.  Opportunities to be hired on a contractual basis are also possibilities in the program, and many students also participate in outreach performances throughout the community.
